Spike tents are often used by individuals who are seeking a tent with a sewn in floor and is relatively light weight compared to a wall tent.

Our  spike tent is different from other spike tents because we have 3 support poles holding up the roof.  Other spike tents normally have only 1 center pole support. The 1 center pole support spike tent has only standing room in the center near the center pole.

Our Selkirk spike tent with the 3 poles is a much better design as it allows much more headroom.  The front and back door has a 6' 4" support pole which allows significant headroom the entire length of the tent.  Watch the spike tent video to get a better appreciation of the headroom in our spike tent.

We have recently added a new size to our Selkirk Spike Tent, the 14 x 14.  The 14 x14 will accommodate 4 people very comfortably.  However,  the 14 x14 can house up to 7  people but there would not be much room except for the cots.
